Francis joined BFL CANADA in 2018 and has over 12 years experience in the commercial insurance industry. He is in charge of medium and large clients and deals with risks managers in various sectors. His experience in the commercial insurance field has allowed him to cover a wide variety of clients operating in several related maritime and logistics industries including the distribution, import and export, manufacturing, landowners, and land and rail transportation.

Francis assists all of his clients by reviewing the insurance and indemnity clauses of their contracts and provides them with the appropriate recommendations for optimal risk transfer. Having dealt with the vast majority of North American insurance markets, Francis has extensive experience in the London market (Lloyds and others) and develops insurance programs tailored to the specific risk profile of each client.

Francis is very involved in his industry and the St. Lawrence Shipoperators, the Traffic Club of Montréal, the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association, the Grunt Club as well as several other associations in the transportation and logistics industry.
