Each year, thousands of earthquakes occur in BC, most of which go unnoticed. Nonetheless, earlier this spring, shaking caused by earthquakes was felt by some residents across the Lower Mainland region.

As a condominium owner, it is important to evaluate your preparedness for BC’s seismic risks. While strata corporations generally have earthquake coverage, only about 45% of individual homeowners possess such insurance, highlighting the necessity for increased awareness and action regarding personal insurance policies.
