As Regional Vice President – Western Canada, Tom is responsible for managing the offices in BC, setting and executing growth and performance, as well as the insurer, operational and administrative strategies for the region.

Tom joined BFL CANADA in 2013. Prior to this, he held a variety of senior executive roles with a global insurance broker. His breadth of experience includes providing strategic direction for the Canadian operations of a global insurance firm, implementing a managing general underwriting agency across Canada, and providing leadership for a major retail branch operation.

Before beginning his career as an insurance broker, Tom practiced law in the area of commercial litigation. His primary focus was in the area of shareholder and director’s and officer’s litigation.

He is a current member of the Canadian Bar Association and holds a Canadian Risk Management Designation from Simon Fraser University.

Tom is also a member of BFL CANADA’s Senior Executive Group on the Corporate Chief Operating Committee.
