Last October, BFL CANADA announced a partnership with Hockey Canada supporting Women’s hockey. One of the initiatives of this partnership is the BFL CANADA Female Coaches of the Year program. The goal of this program is to recognize women in coaching.

Today, BFL CANADA and Hockey Canada are proud to announce the winners of the first BFL Female Coach of the Year awards!

Here are the names of the National winners:

BFL Coach of the Year – National High Performance Winner: Teresa Hutchinson (Ontario)

BFL Coach of the Year – National Community Winner: Samantha Holmes-Domagala (Alberta)
