BUILDERS’ RISKS ON COMMERCIAL AND PRIVATE PLEASURE VESSELS
Protects your building materials as well as your temporary structures such as scaffolding installed by the builder for the renovation or the construction of commercial ships or pleasure vessels. Covers ship repairers in the event that their liability is implicated as a result of damage caused to ships on which they are working. This policy also protects against any legal action incurred as a consequence of bodily injury or death caused to others during ship repairers’ activities.
CHARTERERS’ LEGAL LIABILITY
Covers the charterer’s legal or contractual obligations to a vessel owner as specified in the charter agreement. This normally covers damage caused to a vessel while loading, unloading and stowage of the cargo, and loss of life or bodily injury to third parties resulting from acts of the charterer.
