BFL CANADA to sponsor Samuel Girard, speed skating rising star

MONTREAL, January 15th 2015 – It is with great enthusiasm that BFL CANADA announces a sponsorship agreement with Samuel Girard, speed skating rising star, who stood out in September of last year by winning one of the two passes for the Fall Short Track Speed Skating World Cups, in which he collected a silver medal in the Men’s relay event.

Originally from Ferland-et-Boilleau, in La Baie, Quebec, the 18-year-old athlete also left an impression this past March by obtaining the second place in the 1500m Super Final of the World Junior Championships. The young skater from Saguenay is already on the radar for the 2018 Olympic team selection. He is presently part of Speed Skating Canada’s National Development team.

“As an active partner in sports organizations, BFL CANADA is always eager to support young talents. Samuel Girard is a great representative of our company’s values and promotes a healthy image of a truly Canadian sport while allowing his country to shine on the international scene”, proudly commented Barry F. Lorenzetti, president, CEO and founder of BFL CANADA.
