BFL CANADA is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to:

  • Design, build and deploy BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI.

  • Analyzing and creating reporting solutions that turn data into knowledge using Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).

  • Maintain and support data analytics platforms.

  • Provide technical expertise, assistance and training to end users.

  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.

  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.

  • Develop and update technical documentation.



  • Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.

  • 1 to 2 years of experience as a BI Developer using Microsoft Power BI.

  • Knowledge in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining.

  • Understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.

  • Knowledge of BI technologies including Microsoft Power BI.

  • Ability dealing with Data Cubes and Pivot Tables.

  • Abilities to take initiative and be innovative.

  • Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.

  • Bilingual, French and English, spoken and written.

  • Knowledge of SQL queries, SSRS and SSIS, an asset.

  • Insurance or financial services experience, an asset.
