BFL CANADA Consulting Services Inc. “BFL” has developed this Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Emergency Travel Insurance Program for Film Production and Television Cast & Crew Members. With over 25 years of experience working closely with our clients, we are able to understand their needs and design the program to cover most emergencies.
Chartis Insurance Company of Canada underwrites the program. It is a group accidental death and dismemberment and emergency out of country or province medical program for members while engaged in film production while traveling outside the country or province of residence.
In the event of Injury or Sickness covered by the Group Blanket Policy requiring hospitalization, the Insurer must be notified within forty (48) hours from the time of incident or expense claims may be denied or only partially covered. In the event of a medical Emergency, Insured Persons or an individual acting on their behalf must call one of the worldwide telephone numbers listed below:
